Originally purchased to be used as a deburring tool to improve our overall quality, the Butfering Steelmaster has been a great asset for providing a finish on some of our stainless steel and aluminum parts. The Steelmaster is capable of providing a grained finish up to 400 micron. As a result of the finishing and deburring that we were doing with the Steelmaster and outside sources, a tumbler was added for deburring and polishing of smaller parts.
These machines compliment the hand finishing of parts that has always taken place. While more time consuming, grinding, sanding, polishing and Scotch brite surfaces created by hand have always been available.
